Having enough time to heal during the Minnesota Vikings’ bye week, Brett Favre said his pulled groin muscle is fine and plans to maintain his record durability streak, or he hopes so.
He pulled the muscle during a drill two weeks ago and said the injury was aggravated in pregame warmup for the game against his old team Green Bay Packers on Nov. 1. But it seemed that the injury did not matter at all as he still led the current team to win over the old team.
Favre seemed like to pass former Vikings defensive lineman Jim Marshall in the number of regular season games played. Marshall set the NFL record for a non-kicker by playing 283 consecutive regular season games, and Favre needs only four more games to break that record, and become the second player wearing Vikings jersey achieving the record.
