The Dallas Cowboys fans were completely satisfied with what they saw at the nearly $1.2 billion Cowboys Stadium on Friday night. The new stadium was dazzling, the player in No. 9 dallas cowboys jersey went 18 of 24 for 192 yards, and the team won over the Tennessee Titans.
The stadium opened two hours before the game started, and fans finally could say how humongous the overhead video boards are and some went to find the best standing-room spots. Even the players also felt happy for finally getting to play in this place they’ve heard so much about for so long, and that was maybe why they played up to the mood for most of the time.
In the first half, it was the Titans’ advantage. The team went three and out on its first three drives. Kerry Collins threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Justin Gage and put the Titans up 10-7 when there was only 59 seconds left in the first half. However, the Titans did not gain score again then on and the Cowboys gave a much more steady performance. After gaining 249 yards and 17 first downs in the first half, Dallas backup quarterback Jon Kitna threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to undrafted rookie Kevin Ogletree and third-stringer Stephen McGee threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Rodney Hannah in the second half.
