On Thursday, the Buffalo Bills were glad to see their wide receiver Terrell Owens in progress. During the practice, Owens took part in work out and caught passes in individuals’ drills.
Coach Dick Jauron was encouraged and began to believe that the receiver would be cleared to start practicing fully next week. Since Owens jammed his foot in the Hall of Fame game on Aug. 9, he had not played much and from Tuesday to Thursday it was the most time he had practiced after being injured.
Owens has been ruled out by Jauron from playing in the preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, together with running back Fred Jackson who had missed practices with a sprained wrist.
